Screensaver problems

    Hello,
    This the first time posting, so hope it's in the correct forum topic.
    The default XP screen saver( if that's what it's called) does not come on anymore ,when no users are logged on, also all 3 users of this system can't change any screen savers-either through desktop or control panel. Any advice would be appreciated.
