Hello all, another question...Operating WinXP Home on an HP ze4600 laptop...whether scrolling down IE6 or any other window (word, etc.), the page is very jumpy & doesnt scroll smoothly AND when dragging windows, its the same thing...I know about the IE6 Tools - Advanced - Use Smooth Scroll option, and thats already checked...any suggestions?

one option I can think of off hand are delete you Internet temp cache, reboot and try again.

or make sure your GFX card drivers are upto date.

Do you notice the hard drive light come on and off when it gets jumpy. If so could be a memory issue (IE too many programs loaded -- memory intensive program in the background - that sort of thing)

Also, if that isnt it, go to display properties and play with hardware acceleration a tad (higher or lower) to see if that helps.

messing with the hardware acceleration seemed to have fixed the problem, but does anyone know if having it on "NONE" will mess anything else up? anyone who knows about the hardware acceleration in display properties PLEASE shed some light on this
    THANKS
