SCSI Controller Recommendation

Hi all and Happy Holidays!

I'm building a new box in which I will be installing a pair of Cheetah ST118202LC in RAID 1 configuration. This will be my first foray into SCSI drives and would like to ask if anyone could recommend a tasty controller.

I imagine Adaptec is the way to go, but there are SOOO many different models. I have found quite a bit of documentation, but rather than learn all there is to know about the technology, I'm doing the lazy thing and asking for advice. I will, of course, eventually do the reading, but I'd like to expedite the hardware gathering process, if at all possible.

Just waiting on my 2nd drive, now, and am itching to order the card.

I second Adaptec too but SIIG and Promise controller cards have been good to me too.
As far as which controller to get, get your Drives first and depending on the Drives and their bus type you will know what kind of controller (SCSI1 SCSI2 SCSI3 WIDE Ultra2) to get for your needs....
