sd-r2512 can't read cds it burns

I'm back with more fun this time I have a cd-rw/dvd-rom model sd-r2512. I can read any thing in any format but when I burn a cd it will not read it, i can reset the system and ever things ok, I just cant raed that cd i can read it i a diff system and i can read diff cd. Using RecordNow! v7.3 on XP mc sp2 + hot fixes on Toshiba A10-s4284 any help is much welcomed.

 

Is it a brand new or a used drive? If used, have you run a cleaning disk in it yet?

 

its used but I have 3 of the same model and all do the same thing I'm thinking that its the software or maybe the firmware. but back to the point, yes I run a cd cleaning disk.

 

It is probably the Sonic software. Maybe some setting to finalize the disc? Or burn at once?

Try burning with CDburnerXP and see how it goes.

 

I agree, I only see Record Now when i buy sony products which I gave up on along time ago (sony sucks) and if I remember correctly so did record now. Try a different burning program like the man said, Imageburn is free too.

For Pc(s) anyway. They still make some tightly manufactured portable CD players.

 

Good call on the hole sony sucks thing looks like the app never closes out. thanks for the help.
