SD reader

New kid on the block needs help......Go figure :banghead

I'm running windows xp pro on a hp pavillion 8000.

SD reader will not read a 4 gig (or higher) card?
NE1 know of a fix.....?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :highfive

you probably have a sdhc card, and that reader is not capable of reading it.

Standard SD card capacities range from 1 MB to 4 GB. The capacity range for high capacity SDHC cards overlap, beginning at 4 GB but reaching as high as 32 GB as of mid-2009...

if you're not sure what you have, check hp's support site for the newest drivers for the card reader.
