Hi all. Has anyone come across an interface to connect from an SD slot to a PC or, in my case, an Odroid, so that I can stream sports-camera video straight to screen and storage on the PC. It currently can only stream to the SD card, and PC can only read from the SD card after the file has been closed.
    Thanks

Thanks, but unfortunately, this is just software, and to play stored video too. I want to watch (and store) on the PC, the live stream from the camera, that which would otherwise be stored on the SD card. The hardware would need to have a card with wires (ribbon) attached, which would then connect to a serial port on the PC,

So you want to live stream sports from an Android to your PC & record it while broadcasting it to a TV?

Is this all occurring in the same room? or what?

Android has Ustream "Broadcast live to any number of viewers using the camera of your device"
Also there are IP Web Cam apps that will take the camera from the Android and use it on the PC.
Then you could capture it on the PC with any of those programs that do video capture or screen capture (I'm thinking Fraps or Taksi) and use VGA or HDMI to hook it to a TV.

Again, NO. I have a sports camera, one that clamps onto a cycle helmet. The camera part can only record to an SD card. In order to see what was recorded, I have to access the SD card, either through the camera's USB port, or via it's video port and a TV or Composite video adapter in the PC.
I want to replace the SD card with an interface adapter, and connect that to a PC so, instead of recording on the SD card, the video data goes straight into the PC for display or recording.
There is available, a WiFi adapter which can be inserted into the SD slot, but that would also require a WiFi adapter in the PC. I am looking for a wired adapter to do the same job.
