About a week ago Google suddenly stopped working. I was thinking it may be due to all the changes it is undergoing. BUT A WEEK? THEN Yahoo, etc stopped working. I'm worried if this is a virus or something. Many sites are connected to Google so I can't even use some sites now either. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome as well thinking it may fix the issue. It didn't. I was considering clearing my computer and starting over but I don't want to go through all that work for nothing. All other computers in the house are working fine concerning this. Not sure if this is an internet issue or a computer issue so I may have to re-post elsewhere. Thank you for any help ahead of time. A friend sent me to this site saying you all were very helpful.

Yep, the Run and Read Me Sticky in the Malware-Removal Forum is the one to follow if you suspect nasties. And when done and if you think you are infected, post in that forum and those folks will fix you up. Even if you think you're clean and you just want them to verify that you are, they can do that, too. Be sure to follow all their directions as closely as you can regarding what logs to post and what to do at each step.

    Good luck.
