Well... I personally use "Groot" search engine...

I did use Google, then went on to Bing, but I like Groot the best...

You may find it here... https://groot.ssuiteoffice.com/

    Have fun...

There's some interesting choices here. Certainly https://elgoog.im/ is geared more towards upper echelon bureaucratic and corporate management o_O

Going in to bat.....would you take a Louisville Slugger 2019 Prime, or a Walmart plastic yellow wiffle? :p

Google will hit what others may miss, it stands to reason.......

If you think privacy is better protected with alternate engines/browsers, think again!

Google have billions to spend on security....the others dont.

    Hi

Google and Bing are good and have good picture search options, but I have been a fan of clustering search engines in https://www.yippy.com/ (was called Vivisimo) in its early days, but in the left side panel on any search term it tries to help you narrow down your search, pretty good for me in medical searches.

How much does Google earn from stealing private information and selling it?

Personally, I don't care for Googles new layout. That's the main reason I'm switching.

Yippy looks interesting as well. I'll play with these options and see which I like best. Funny how hard it is to switch search engines, but I've been using Google ever since I can remember.

Thanks to everyone for all the help and I'm open to any other ideas you all may have...

Probably only a bit more than the others do......thats because they are google and advertisers love them.

Do you honestly believe that search engines will let you use their wares for free?

They are also tracking your online habits and selling this info to advertisers.

Prove to me that they dont Eldon?

Lately I've used DuckDuckGo more than Google and it usually finds what I am looking for.
