Search Enhancement Pack

    Serch Enhancement Pack appears every time I boot up my computer. Please tell me how I can get rid of it. It is very annoying.

    My system is Windows XP.To my knowledge, I do not have a service pack installed. My browser is Internet Explorer. I use AVG and Malware. I have not cleaned my computer in several weeks. I did not use system restore.

    Hi Penny

    Have you installed Windows Live Messenger, Mail, Photogallery,Live Toolbar, Writer etc of late?

    Have you tried all the advice and steps posted in this thread HERE pay particular attention to post #5


    Likely removal keys are and to use them click Start then Run and paste one in at a time and hit enter after each one, then do the next.

    depends what versions of Live you installed.

    On a hp pavilion computer went to: C:\Program Files, Microsoft(folder containing Bingbar Search Enhancement Pack files) right click, rename, typed Microsoft old, press enter, rebooted, on startup screen was gone.
