Search for downloads on MG

Dear Abby Sue ( always wanted to say that ) . Is there a simple way to find out what programs are available for download on MG. What I mean is there an Alphabetical list, not divided by categories, where people can search. For example Code Stuff and Password Safe are 2 programs I would recommend as answers to posts but I would like to keep folks within the MG site as you hinted to me a while ago.

I have tried Search and Advanced Search but this gets me to threads and posts, not to the actual program name, unless I've missed something, which is entirely possible at 5am local time when I am usually on the net.

for example, searching on EmpTemp would get me straight to http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=1575

there is a search function right under the 'Info' table

Thanks Alan http://www.majorgeeks.com/search.php gets me to a search function as you indicate. The search box is the same colour as the brown background. May I suggest that it be changed to white as people think that if it isn't white it don't work. Talk about brainwashed. Me that is, not you, of course.

What I am looking for is an Alphabetical list of all the programs that MG have a link to on the MG site. I would like a quick way to find out if, for example, a program called Password Safe is on the MG site, or not, and the MG link.

Type in "Password Safe" without the quotes and you get hundreds of sites in no apparent order. Most of which have no relevance to what I am after. AVG Free Edition, Avast, etc., for example.

Type in "Password Safe" with the quotes and you don't get a match. Fair Enough. But an Alpha list of all would be far easier and quicker IMHO. Baz
