Something to do when u r really bored: try this.

Try searching your username. So i typed "hithere" at the Forum Search (or search forums or whateva). the results showed that my username was used in 3 threads. hmmm... not many, is it?

anyway, how many results u got?

 

Wow -- people used my name (and I think mostly in a nice way) 120 times!

 

cool! where did that table come from? i mean the picture.

 

It's just the left side of the page you get when you do an "advanced search"

I was mentioned 9 times among 6 threads.

 

41 times. I would feel special, but most of them where probly me refering to my self.

That brings up several good points:

1) This search shows the threads you're in -- I started counting and in just 3 of them I was referred to or quoted 10 times -- so the number goes up if you're going by that. If you want to know how many times a PERSON refers to you...that would take a lot of counting...

2)Your exact user name, especially more complicate ones, won't be used except in "originally posted by _____"

3) Some of you may be referred to in other places (and I mean this nicely) by a nickname...like just "cooked" instead of "overcooked", ya know.

I have no idea why
it has nothing to do with my name
I think it might have been a drinking thing

 

Yep because im big...or was big...I droped 120lbs...and now im 6'3" So now im just tall. The name just stuck.

ya i guess you're right. major geeks did help me a couple of times with problems, preventing me from "killing" my comp.
