Season's Greetings to All...

Will be off air for a while...like BILLMCC66, I'll be spending Christmas and some time thereafter in hospital...(sudden unexpected back problem occurrence that within a few days of investigation confirmed need for an op).

Bummer, because I had sailing plans for December and January. Now madly making up/going through my "To Do" list of items to organise/action before op day, as I'll be out of action until sometime in January - and my cat was top of my "To Do" list - pure luck got into a cancellation for this time of year (his motel room looks good...I just might swap for my hospital room)

So to everyone - best wishes for this Season and here's to a fantastic 2008!

Hey LS sorry to hear you are having back problems hope it's not too drastic and you get to recover quickly, i doubt that they would move so fast if it were not for the best (better a short pain than months of waiting) i will be thinking of you and you are in my prayers each night.

in a way its worse for you than me it's freezing here so the best place is in the warm.

Take it easy after the op, or follow the medico's directions if to the contrary. Backs are fairly important. Keeps your head separate from your knees.

Actually my cat has Vet clearance (cat boarding requirement), so I hope he enjoys his little “holiday apartment” with safe/secure outdoor yard access in tranquil, bush setting (no dogs and place run by cat lovers, so he’ll get lots of TLC)…I’m still tempted to swap…though not sure I won’t be needing some “worming” myself after hospital LOL

Lovely thoughts and wishes…Thank You Phantom. I know what is in store, and won’t be leaving hospital until some time in January…just when, depends on how doctor sees my progress. I expect it will be a while until I’m back on track the way I want/need to be…always been the impatient type in this respect

It is a bummer, but then there'll be lotsa kids in hospital who probably will be in longer than me...so I class myself as lucky.

Back to square one for me… Bit like “Snakes and Ladders” when Fate rolls the dice.
