alright... my girlfriend has an older hard drive that she wants in her computer so she can put the mass loads of god awful music she has on it. And of course she asked me to do it... is there a jumper on the mobo that i need to move?

No, on the hard drive. They usually have a diagram on them, possibly right near the jumpers. Main hard drive must be master, the new drive you add must be jumpered as slave if they are on the same cable, which they usually are. Holler if you need more.
