second pc problems

hi again

this thread is realted to a second pc i was trying to fix, which previously had no anti-virus or any anti-spyware installed, thus becoming a real treat for the thriving parasites of the net

following the procedure;
1. Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool -- found nothing
2. Ad-Aware Full System Scan -- cleaned some malware
3. Spybot Search & Destroy -- was not able to fix "winhound" even after a reboot scan
4. CounterSpy -- program haults, and was not able to do a scan
5. Since the pc is not mine i did not want to screw around with networking options thus i had to skip the online scans with BitDefender and Panda Active Scan
6. HijackThis -- log file attached

i hope this info will be sufficient to diagnose a cure

I'm not sure what you are referring to! What networking options? HijackThis does not reveal all malware that can be hiding on a PC. These scans are necessary and typically can find many other hidden problems.

Are the below Main and Search pages and Proxy Server something you setup and require?
