SecThought.A & .B Trojan

Good Day M/Geeks.
Having a problem with a PC running Win M/E. AVG has detected the Trojan Horse "SecThought.B". While detected, AVG has been unable to fix/heal the problem and I've read (but not tried) that Trojan Remover does not identify this problem. Do you folks have a solution to this nasty?

Make sure that system restore in not abled.

 

agreed with greyhound the main part of that trojan is located in your system restore which is protected whilst still enabled

so you need to disable system restore(unfortunately you will lose all of your restore points) reboot make sure you have the latest updates for AVG rescan hopefully fix that trojan re-enable your system restore
