I have a horrid memory and a desk full of sticky notes. I cannot for the life of me remember all my passwords. :banghead

I've been told letting FF remember them is BAD, I use Xmarks for FF but it is still FF.

Robo form? someone told me this is THE best, everyone has an opinion LOL

So come on, please tell me which is the SAFEST! Most SECURE!

I even considered a password generator for more secure passwords, but I would never remember them :roflmao

    Hi

Yes RoboForm is one I know many friends use, but also one that was mentioned to me a while back is KeePass

While nothing is ever 100% safe the options above are good, and why I say nothing is ever, safe is that you will also to keep passwords safe also need to have a malware free PC, as keyloggers can grab your master password to these types of apps, so its a combination of things from using an application to keep multiple passwords safe to also keeping your PC malware free and you are as safe as you can be.

Me I use memory for banks and retailer type passwords, as I use a method of password generation thats strong and unique to me, but many other passwords go into text file on an encrypted drive, using TrueCrypt

    Hi flyinghooves

Think you will be fine with either of the two mentioned, RoboForm is the more known one of the two, so in its free version it will do what you want, just keep your Windows and all your security applications up to date, download from known websites (p2p adds more risk) and be careful of what you post on Facebook.

I am running back through Attitude's and Chaslang's posts on cleaning and such.

I will try roboform but sure would be interested in learning about TruCrypt if you could direct me where to read. Or if you're not too busy to walk a novice through it :-o

What sis you mean by "watch what you post on FB"? I have my privacy high on there but the new changes suck! rolleyes

One last question, sorry :) I am using Comodo as a firewall, is this good or should I change? I am running XP pro on all pc's and laptop.
