securing file/folder

    im looking a program for that:confused:

    what can you advice?

    i have here to choose:
    Folder Lock
    Lock it and Protect Plus
    Universal Shield
    ComputerSafe

    or you better one.....:confused:

    Hi I find that when I need to protect something its sometimes easier to just throw it in an encrypted rar or zip file.

    If you want to protect stuff specifically from other users you could use the permissions settings. by default on xp they are hidden. To view them turn off 'Simple FIle SHaring' in the advanced option in windows explorer. The you have a 'win 2003' style permissions settings.
