I use Comodo Firewall Pro the other day I received notification of a program wanting access to something i'm not sure what it was but it looked shady so I blocked it a few times. In the proactive defense section a few files we're listed as waiting for a review. This file caught my attention:

    C:\Documents and Setting\The Darkside\Local Settings\Temp\rbSolnUpdateENU.3.0.1.exe.

I searched for information on Google about it and it looks like it could be some kind of hijack software. Antvir found no viruses and Malwarebytes found no malware so I downloaded Hijack this and decided to show you guys what it found. Let me know what ya think. Thanks.

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2
Scan saved at 11:13:51 PM, on 9/2/2008
Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
    MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)
    Boot mode: Normal

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please do not post HijackThis logs. See the forum sticky threads. Also no logs should be posted as inline text. Any logs posted should always be attachments.

If this is your only problem, then just delete it. In fact all files in the Temp folder can be deleted as you don't need them.

Are you having any malware problems? If you are then please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
