   kb923414 will not reboot my laptop,it downloads it,installs it, then when asked to restart,it freezes,any ideas?its a pain in the rectum,been to bills gobble gook site,cant find an answer,win xp home,sp2,p4 2.4,512 ram

   I assume it doesn't give you the option to reboot now, so you can't tell it no, I have used the Microsoft Baseline Security Advisor 2.0 with good results, may let you know if you need this update.
