Oh, sizwiz, have you guys started playing UFD again yet? I got put on the wrong thing for games (they hate me). NTF (non team football). ARGHHH. I've got to go talk to un-named games teacher and convince him that my form tutor is an idiot (which, knowing who my form tutor is, shouldn't be hard) and wrote me down for the wrong group.

 

i assume you have mr H. as a form teacher? Im doing UFD, but we lost alex's really really amazingly ultimate frisbee, so we have to use the crappy school ones should be good to start again though


And it is brrr for me, damnit, i still havent acclimatised to this weather!

You talking about the really light bendy one? Or one that I've not played with yet? I've got a standard issue red one if the school ones are that bad, but its a lot heavier than that one.

Whos playing this year? Same as last year? I imagine there might be some year 11's too, this time around. or maybe not? Anyway, I'm looking forward to that! Maybe this year we can try and organise an inter school game or two! We'll get thrashed but hey, who cares!

Many years ago I rode my brother's Harley with a rigid rear end and it was excrutiating every time I went over a bump!

Bling bling! Looks great. Everyone out here in Metro Detroit has been riding their motorcycles the last few days since the warmer weather is finally upon us. I saw a dude on a V-rod at a stoplight the other day too...

 

I'm telling ya I would not get on one of those suicide machines for love or for money. No way. But, even to a non-biker dude like me, that is one nice rig there, Major!

 

Motorbikes themselves aren't dangerous, it's the other fools on the road you have to watch out for!

Even leaving your headlights on 24 hours a day and not riding in their blind-spots doesn't help with some idiots.

Which is a real shame as riding is one of the most pleasurable experiences you can have.

We're finally getting some spring weather up here in Chicago. Gotta pull out my spring/summer clothes and pack away all those sweaters and winter hats and scarves. WOO-HOO!!!

Depends on where you are. Where the ground is flat, the roads are usually straight. Where the ground is hilly to mountainous, the roads have corners.

When I was in college, my favorite bike ride was Rt 64 from eastern Tennessee into North Carolina. Two-lane highway, foothills of the Smokey Mountains, lots of twisties and gorgeous scenery. The road paralleled a rocky river for many miles. You could scrape your knees for a while, then stop & play on rocks & fast falling water when you got tired. Memories....
