Seems I have a hijacker on my computer. Every time I go to animeyume.org it hijacks me to a site called ohwada.org (if memory serves, this site is NOT work safe btw). I'm currently running AVG antispyware, I plan on running AVG antirootkit. an I have a log file from HijackThis as well attaches to the post. I've used BlockSite attachment in Firefox to block the site, but when I try to go to the forums, it just leaves a blank screen, and constantly tries to load the site over and over again making me unable to post anything reporting this to the site.

I just tried to view the site and it redirected me to so apparently the domain has been hijacked or they purposely redirected it. Either way it's the site not your system.

I do however see some minor things in your HJT log that need removing so I would follow the instructions below.

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifAfter doing ALL of the above and you still have a problem, make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below thread to properly use HijackThis and attach the log:

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around..

CounterSpy Log - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users

AVG Antispyware Log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy. - only for Windows XP, 2K, & NT users

Bitdefender Log - from step 6

Panda Scan Log - from step 6

runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat

newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat

HijackThis Log

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs![/FONT]

I now have my AVG anti spyware log as well, I deleted all these cookies. I can promise that it's not the site redirecting people, I've used this site for years and they've been having server issues lately.

BTW, which all items should I remove, I've never used Hijack this till now.

If it's a legit website then it appears their domain has been hijacked and redirected to a not so appropriate site. I would think they would have this resolved as soon as possible.
