Semi-heart stopper this AM

Got to work and doing the usual open up office routine and get to my room and start powering up everything and .. OH CRAP .. my comp did not power up. Every thing else peripheral wise is up and running.
I built it about 6 months ago and no problems since the get go.
So start moving stuff around to get to the case and start trouble shooting.
Switch seems to be OK, clicks and "feels" alright.
Pull the side cover and front bezel and really look at switch - no obvious problems.
Look inside and Uh Oh no mobo LEDs lit.
Start switching PSU switch a couple of times and unplugging cable from PSU and no joy. (This is getting worrisome.)
Turn all peripherals off and start looking at UPS - CyberPower 685AVR - and everything looks OK. Turn it off and back on and no warning beeps or alarms powering up.
Try comp again and still no joy. Go back to the UPS and switch plugs for the comp and still no joy. Then looking back at the UPS and the only thing on the battery/surge side is the comp with all the other peripherals on the surge only side. So try a surge only plug and - whammo - crisis averted and I can go about my day.
Never had a UPS fail on only one side with no warning of low battery or failure lights. I guess the battery gremlins were hungry last night.

 

We have gremlins in our office too, except they steal things and move other things around. :-D
