'Send To' Disappeared!

I'm running Win2000 Pro (SP4) and previously I could right click on something and from the drop down box I could send whatever I right clicked on to, say, desktop as a shortcut. However, that seems to be a thing of the past lately!! Now when I right click on something the drop down box still has the 'send to' message, but it says empty!! How do I retrive my send to stuff again? I haven't installed anyting new in a long time and that feature was functioning. I used it last about a month ago. Any suggestions on how to get all the back? THANKS!!!

 

open your 'SendTo' folder... my computer/local disc/documents and settings/administrator/sendto.

Once you open the 'send to' folder, click 'file' up top, then 'new' from the drop down, and 'shortcut'. You'll get a wizard that allows you to browse for 'targets' to add to the 'send to' folder. The new target is automatically added to the target list.

I'd like to know what caused the problem too.

Anyone got a clue on what could make a link to a target file disappear? Or is this a filepath issue?
