    Dell XPS GEN 3

    i have heard:

    Bios drivers
    Nvidia drivers
    new psu
    new card

i have a 460w supply. my friend has the exact same computer even bought at the same time and he does not have the same problem.

what are the chances of my psu really going bad just for the video card? (yes i have the molex connector hooked up)

i read somewhere that you can turn unused things off to gain more power, is this an option? thanks and pray for me.

u have heard?... what have u heard? did u buy those things? u shouldnt have to upgrade your PSU in a prebuilt, especially an XPS unless you are going to upgrade your video card

the only time you get that message is when the card isn't able to draw enough from the molex connector. I would start with moving to a different molex connector just to check to make sure its not a bad connection.
