Serious problem !

    I first posted my problem in "software" ,Then a member told me it's a malware problem. The post in "software is titled Remote procedure call.Maybe someone here can help?

    Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.

    Click the Task Manager button.

    Click the Processes tab.

    Click the Image Name column heading to sort the processes alphabetically by name.

    Tell me what processes are running.

    It appears that I had some sort of total failure of the hard drive.All I would get now is a blank black screen. I replaced the drive with the original 15 gig hd, and the machine functions properly.There was not a lot of things of value on it,so it is not a disaster. Thanks, Tommy

    No problem. The drive may still have recoverable information on it.
