Are you sure your LCD supports resolutions greater then 800x600?

If so you should be able to get what ever you need from Dell.

You can also check you monitor properties and see if it is limited to 800x600.

The best place to get the most current drivers and the only place I would download a BIOS flash from is the Manufacturer. I think Dell is still making the d600's so the drivers should be available there. I'm an IBM fan when it comes to laptops so I'm not sure but I think Dell uses service tags for identifying the machine. With that number the site should direct you to the exact drivers you need. If the tag is missing on the machine, I think the number is also in the BIOS.

I read your post about the dead link. Maybe their FTP site is just down right now. If so try again later. I wouldn't expect it to be down too long. If your trying to go straight to their FTP, try going to www.dell.com and link in from there.

    Ignore ALL the above posts.

You dont need Dell drivers for anything. In this case, you need ATI drivers. The Radeon should work:

The rest of you who answered, STOP answering questions because you either did not read his question or actually didnt know to send him HERE for the latest video drivers, or at least ATI. This was really basic.
