Server 2008 Ent 64-bit not loading TS profiles

I have just installed a Windows Server 2008 64-bit Enterprise Edition Terminal Server and I'm having issues with a handful of user accounts not loading their profiles properly.

The message reads;

"There was a problem with your roaming profile. You have been logged on with your previously saved local profile. Please see the event log for details or contact your administrator."

But as usual the event viewer doesn't help enough (would be nice if Windows spoke plain English sometimes)

The Domain Controller is Windows Server 2003 Std x86

Internet access and network access is stable with no reports of lost connections or downed internet connections.

Any ideas why this would suddenly be happening?

 

what does the event log say?
