OK, I have set up three partitions on my hard drive. My C: is a boot partition(8mb/FAT). My D: drive has XP Pro(38gb partition/NTFS). My E: drive has FreeBSD (38gb partition). When I tried to install XP service pack 2 I get an error stating that I need to free up more space on my C drive. This is wierd to me because I have set it to decompress and install on the D drive. Any one know whay this is or am I just stuck?

Thanks for any help in advance.

You must have more than 8mb of space on your C: drive.

Ok. So even though it is only a boot partition it still needs more than a few mb? That is not a problem. Is there a good set amount I should use? Thanks for your help.

For Sp1, it was only like 50mb. For Sp2, might want to up it to 100, just in case.
