HI, heres my HJT log and analyzed.

    http://hjt.networktechs.com/parse.php?log=189201

There is nothing on there that i think is trouble. But im no whizz in this field. I recently expired on my antivirus software and accidently opened up an exe (can't remember what it was) which i think infected my system.

I have done spyware scans using ad-aware, sypbot with uppdated def's and removed all instantaces of anything dirty looking. I have even done this 2 or 3 times to see weather anything keeps poppiong back but all looks ok. I have virus scanned with f-prot with updated def's and deleted all other instances.

The trouble i am having is that i can boot up my pc, login to any username but after its gone through booting everythig up, about 3 minutes later it near enough freezes because "services.exe" is using up 99-100% cpu.

I know that services handles starting and stopping of processes but i cant figure out what it is thats sucking the cpu dry. I can only use my pc for any length of time in safe mode which is what i am doing now.

i did get a message from adwatch that "cttrlvi.exe" registry has been changed. I looked it up and it was under a key called "earreflw" in local machine/..../run

    Any help would do.

If you need any more info i can provide. Thanks in advance. John
