Services.msc help!

I was messing around with services.msc and disabled a services that shows in my ctrl+alt+delete what processes are owned by what user, anyone know what service that is?

 

I think you're probably referring to the Task Manager. If so, after using Ctrl-Alt-Del, try choosing "View - Select Columns" from the menus and have a look in there for the column you're missing. If, as I think, you're on XP, it should be the last check box in the left hand column.

 

That didn't work....I even tried adding ALL the settings and no avail :cry

 

Sorry for double posting, but the only username I can see (even before your suggestion) is the System Idle Process. If that helps :banghead

 

Can you take a screen shot of the problem and post it here? And what heading is above the System Idle Process?

P.S. I just realised what you probably meant by double-posting. Double-posting doesn't mean posting two or more messages in a row. It means putting the same information in two or more different places, such as in different forums. Sometimes if people aren't sure what might be causing their problem, they may post in the Hardware forum and in the Software forum with the same information and start two threads. Or they may post again in the same forum because they haven't had an answer to the first post and are getting anxious, instead of just adding something to their first post to bring it back near the top if a good number of days have gone by without an answer. This can make the task of helping them resolve their problem more difficult because of information being in more than one place so moderators will usually remove or close a one of the posts and say so. What you have done isn't double-posting.
