    Hi all

Have a little bit of trouble here.
My PC pooped on me today. I had dual displays set on it, and now am backed up via laptop and 2nd display connected to it, via 11pin port.
I set dual displays quite fine, but am having only one issue I can not resolve.
    It's W 7 Pro.
To move cursor to the LEFT, 2nd display, I have to move mouse to the LAPTOP right. then it will pop on that display left edge. I can NOT arrange laptop/display on my desk any other way. It is very annoying to keep doing this.
Swapping displays as primary didn't do anything. Display, as in - laptop and 2nd display via VGA port - is in ""extended" mode, otherwise, it all goes to hell with 2nd display connected.
Is there any way to make that cursor move to the laptop screen LEFT so that it pops on the 2nd display RIGHT edge? As in - naturally? Just like I had them always set up? :cry

Helps to know make & model of the laptop, along with video chipset for second port, and onboard chipset for LCD, if it uses dual chipsets like some higher end laptops do.

Wish I'd have known all that. It's Dell laptop, and it's at work and I am home.
I checked on my dual screen set up at home, and all settings appear to be identical, except that my home PC has dual video card.
Laptop has 2nd monitor plugged via VGA 11 pin port. It's the only VGA port on laptop. Has HDMI also.

If the laptop has HDMI, it will not do expanded display on some of the machines. Check the settings for the display options. If the software is not installed, download it from the display chipset manufacturers website.

    I actually fixed this.
You won't believe how easy it was. And in your face obvious. I am tempted to start a little "who guesses right"game, it was so simple. Of course, because it was right in my face solution, took me two days to see it.
Ahh, heck, I'll keep you in the dark.
Clue: has nothing to do with software, HDMI, or even switching cables. It was one simple move - boom, shaka laka!
