Setting up F@H on my dual core.

Hi guys,
I've been folding on the laptop for awhile now, and I'd like to set up F@H to utilize the other core too, as its a dual-core processor.

I looked on the stanford page, there directions were a bit vague.

Augiedoggie explained how he did it in this thread Gimpster http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=135524 claimed it works well, I have one machine with a dual core and am going to give it a go, Nitrowing also has a dual core that he has running and "Overclocked" that is really pumping. You might want to give those guys a PM and see if they would explain their systems here in this thread as there are a lot interested..........Me for one.

The laptop wont overclock, more's the pity as the E2140 cpu I have built into my drawer (pics when it's finished ) overclocked quite well (if I'd picked a different board it would have gone a lot higher!).
I have the Mac SMP client running on the Mac Mini.
The GPU client running on my oc'd XP2400 with a X1950pro.
The Linux SMP client on the laptop and E2140
I have set up a Windows SMP client before but it was a while ago...!

come on nitro the laptop will over clock- pictures melting plastic

 

If I knew of a none too difficult way, I would do it!

I had to add a heatsink to my AMD64 3000 laptop because it was folding 24/7 - just a bit of dremel work - worked a treat, dropped about 5C
