Setting up for bit torrent

Good morning geeks, I am running XP Home SP3.
Historically I've been avoiding bit torrent because I've had no need, downloading individual files has been sufficient. But now I may need it to get a drama of 134 video episodes. So...
What client to use, it seems that utorrent is preferred here at MG.
I've searched other forum pages for specific issues but is there a beginners guide to set up in total somewhere? I suppose one comes with the utorrent download or on their website?
My ISP is Comcast, I have Linksys N Ultra RangePlus Wierless Router Model WRT 160N.
I understand that downloads will be slower than broadband depending on seeders/leechers online. I would guess that I can select to download a couple of files each night so as to avoid irritating Comcast.
What should I know about this that I probably don't?

 

I like utorrent and there's basically no setup required except for upload speed if that constrains your dl's or browsing which it often does depending on the ISP. You'll see the individual dramas in a folder and grab what you want. If the dramas are copyrighted, then just say NO. :-D
