Settings for spybot

    Dear sir,
    I have updated my spybot SD from 1.3 to 1.6 version. I want to know what settings I have to set. what about resident " Tea timer" ,shall i disable it ?
    and is it useful to disable it ?
    what is resident "SDhelper" shall I enable or disable it?
    while spybot scanning shall i disable mcafee antivirous disable ?

    We do not like using Teatimer. It has been too problematic over the years and for many people has been too much of a resource hog. However you do need to have realtime antispyware protection as discussed in the below:

    The above also explains to you how we suggest using Spybot and also using SDhelper.

    No you should not normally disable your antivirus while Spybot is scanning.
