When i go to type in to type a web site in the address field the computer remembers what was typed in according to what letters you are typing. How do you remove that option or clear its memory?

    HI!
    Try THIS:
    IE toolbar>Tools>Options>Internet Options
On the Advanced tab scroll down and UNCHECK ' Use inline AutoComplete'
To erase what's already in memory:
    Tools>Options>Internet Options>General tab
In the 'Temporary Internet Files' section click 'Delete Files' and check 'Delete all offline content' in the box that pops up>OK
In the 'History' section, click 'Clear History'>Yes
    OK
    :)

    Hi,
In IE just go to "Tools" in the menu bar at the top, click on it, navigate to "Internet Options", click on it, click on "Clear History".

Start/Explore/c:/doc&settings/(username)/local settings/temp internet/ click on each file and delete contents.
You will need to click on tools first/folder options/view/show hidden files and folders ....:) :)

If what concerns you is the list of previous search terms that start to show as you type in a new search term for Google, that's just your browser's AutoComplete feature at work. It works on most web forms, and the Google search page is just one of those forms. To delete the contents of the AutoComplete list in Internet Explorer:

    Click on the Tools menu
    Click on Internet Options...
    Click on the Content tab
In the Personal information section, click on the AutoComplete button
Click on the Clear Forms button, and answer Yes to the resulting confirmation

Close your browser and then re-open it for the changes to take

If Google is anything like Yahoo, then you should be able to click on the search bar window and it will bring up all the items you've done past searches for. You should see all of them highlited, then rest your cursor on the highlited site and press "Delete" on your keyboard for each item.
