Seven days late...

...into the New Year, but not too late to wish you and yours peace and prosperity for 2010.

Here in "Darkest Africa" this is going to be a hectic year for the followers of that crazy game called "SOCCER" as afficionados of this game will be gathering here in their thousands - players and spectators alike - for the World Football Cup.

I am NOT a follower, in fact, the game leaves me cold - but one thing the poor visitors from overseas don't know what they are letting themselves in for is the racket that will be created at each stadium with thousands of "vuvuzelas" (google the word!) which - it has been established by the experts - is a sure way of permanently damaging one's hearing... Eish...

 

Guess you've never been to a match in the UK, it's loud and abusive. Watch out for the stupid English fans this summer as they're notorious for causing trouble!
