ok so basicly i downloaded a game and ripped the installer now i wanna make it portable but it stores the save data in the application data folder is there a way to make my archive automaticly update when it closes since iv already got a batch in the sfx to copy the save data back to the root folder where the archive extracts too? (its a permanent path of %temp%\RarSFX1)

and yes i do plan to use this on other computers so perferably setting based solution or using a cmd line interface that all windows xp systems have by default

I noticed that might not have been 100% clear with my first post so to clear things up this is what i want the archive to do

    1.) Extract to %temp%RarSFX1
2.) Run the vbs Script to open my batch file hidden
3.) The batch will copy the save file information from "%temp%\RarSFX1" to "C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Rovio\Angry Birds\"
4.) The game will then be started with a ">nul start /wait" command so the batch will hault until the game is closed
5.) The save data then will be copied back to "%temp%\RarSFX1" after the game has been exited
6.) Then I would like to have the archive rebuild itself with the new files in it

If I can make the archive rebuild itself then the whole thing will effectivly be a completly portable game that saves the game data(I also hope to use this for portable web browsers again)
