shdoclc.dll dnserror

bought a sylvania netbook,for my kid, connected to wifi like the instructions said.will not load pages. gives this error: windows/shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm. have any suggestions?

 

In IE click on TOOLS, click on Internet Options. Click on the Connections tab; in this window click on LAN settings. There should be no checks in the Auto Config boxes. Uncheck them if there are any. Next, go to the Proxy Server section and check 'use a proxy server'; then click on the bypass and UNCHECK 'use a proxy server'! Now there should be only a check on the bypass line and it should be 'in the background; i.e. grey. Clip Apply. Close your IE and reboot.
