Yesterday, my antivirus found the trojan named SHeur2.BYYF. It said to restart my pc, so it could scan. i restarted my pc, and when i tried to reboot.. a blue screen pops up for about a tenth of a second, with some type of message i can't read because it goes so fast. i tried booting from my windows disc, and the screen just stays blank. i tried safe mode, and it won't work. I googled, and i found nothing on SHeur2.BYYF, but i see things on SHeur2.. just not SHeur2.BYYF. there seems to be a bunch of different versions of this trojan..

i am on my other computer right now, just if you were wondering.
someone please help me with this.

all i really want to do is wipe the hard drive completely, but i don't know how to do this when basically i can't even get onto my computer.. there isn't anything important that i need on my pc.. i'd gladly do anything to wipe out the whole hard drive.

    Hello, imm106

Please READ everything below before doing anything.

The first thing you want to try doing before things get any worse is to backup important data. The below CDs may help but you will have to get help in the Software Forum on using things like these since it is outside the realm of the Malware Forum to do this as we are too busy with actual malware removal.

If you can no longer boot your PC in either normal boot mode or safe boot mode, there is not much we can do for you to remove malware other than suggest you scan the drive by slaving it into another properly protected PC; or pulling the drive and installing it into an external enclosure and performing the steps in our READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide. Note that if you have a laptop, slaving a laptop drive requires special hardware so this may not be an option for you. Or another option is using another PC to make CDs like the below and use them to scan your PC:

However, you may want to try the below if you have your Windows boot CD or the Recovery Console installed. This could possibly get your PC bootable again.
