    Hi

Try downloading the Shockwave Uninstaller from HERE and running it then re-install Shockwave from HERE

What type of email client are you using, is it an online email service or something like Outlook, Windows Live Mail and are both of them upto date.

If its the online email client type (eg. Gmail, Yahoo etc) then try your browser in its no addons mode, IE is found in Programs > Accessories > System Tools, Firefox is found in the Programs > Firefox/Mozilla folder.

Do you get any full crash message at all and if so what is it? also look in Event Viewer and applications logs for a crash at the exact time of the shockwave crash and whats the message?

I downloaded those files and it did the same thing.
I should probable give you some more information besides the questions you asked.
I am doing it through Juno email server. - I tried it on my desk top computer and it attached the files fine. No crashes using the same email provider.
As far as the messages it only tells me that a plugin has ceased to run and it locks up the attachment process. I can still use my browser (google Crome).
On my desk top which is running xp and foxfire as the browser it worked fine.
I checked the event viewer and didn't find anything relating to shockwave.
    Thanks for your help

Sorry, I just re-read your message. Flash Player comes bundled with Chrome; you cannot uninstall or install it.

I have flash macromedia/adobe and I do not have Chrome.
There are standalone versions available. Here is one such place
    Code:
    http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html
    for IE.
You must install one for IE and a different one for other browsers.
