I am saving for a computer and it will be quite A while before I get one, this is going to be $170 tommorow till noon, I can use it on my dad computer till I get mine if I do buy it, he has a 17" CRT flatscreen

How long does a mail in rebate take? like if I ent in tommorow when would I most likely get my check back in the mail?I have never used a rebate before, I need to convince the parent to loan me the $150 for the "before mail in rebate" price

When I bought my flat panel it took 3 months for all the rebates to come in. The one from CompUSA took a month and a half, the Samsung ones took 3 months.
