Should I just replace my notebooks screen or the complete top of case?

I have cracked the screen on my Dell D620 Latitude notebook. I think only the screen is busted because a small portion of the lower left side functions properly (pretty much the Start button area only). The rest of the screen looks like a horror movie.

As I see things now I have two choices:

    A. Buy a new (or used) replacement screen for between $40 to $80 bucks.

    B. Buy a used complete top case assembly which I think contains not only the screen, but also the top of the case, the Wi-Fi antenna and all the other goodies in there. I guess they took the top off at the hinges. About $45.

Currently, I'm leaning towards B. But the problem I see is that while there are plenty very good instructions/vids on how to replace the Screen itself..I haven't yet found anything about replacing the entire top. (I haven't search that yet, though). I will after I post this.

    Any advise?

    Thanks.

I just realized that I could probably just remove the screen from the used assembly (B above) and put that into my notebook.

So, that makes Choice B easier to select. I'm thinking overall it would be easier to remove and install just the screens than the entire case top.
