Should i overclock my 7600GT?

    Should i overclock my GeForce 7600GT witch is at 650Mhz core clock and 800MHz RAM Clock? I know how to but should I?

    Do you need the extra power and can you handle the costs should you damage the card in the process? If you're struggling to get a decent frame rate then overclocking might help you out, but remember you can fry your card and end up with nothing if you're not careful.

    Yeah i can fry it. I can play games it just so i can get Higher FPS and play games on higher graphics settings. My frame rate is ok so i am unsure if i should. I wont overclock it cause i will be mad if i screw it up. Ill just leave it

    ive never encountered long term problems with any of the cards ive OC'd.

    as long as you keep it cool and dont over-overclock it lol, it should be fine (to the point of system instability or articafting). make sure you test it for stability a few times to double check (ATItool is great for this) You may want to invest in an upgraded heatsink as well

    yeah i should get a new heat sink for it. It has the stock cruddy one LOL
