I recently opened my laptop from hibernate mode and after entering my password I realised I had closed it with task manager open. The icon was in the taskbar. When I clicked on it it opened to the applications page and for a split second there was an application called "Silent Dispatcher" listed. It disappeared within a second.

Googling it doesn't reveal much. The possibility it might be a Trojan from 6 years ago was one. I don't know why it would show up in Task Manager if it was.

I have an Acer laptop running Windows 7. I've run AVG and IOBit Malware Fighter and they found nothing.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for any assistance...

Thanks for the replies. It's a relief to know it's not malicious.
