Simple File Backup Solution?

I am looking for a **simple** file backup solution. I have about 70GB that I backup to removable drives using my own backup program written in Microsoft VBScript. However I understand (am I correct?) that Microsoft is doing away with VBScript so I need to find another solution.

I could probably rewrite my VBScript software in PowerShell or something else, but not sure I have the time to spend on that approach.

So looking for a commercial product to meet the following requirements;
- Copy folder structure from my Windows 10 / 11 laptop to a removable drive that is plugged into a USB port
- If file exists on the source but not on the destination, copy the file to the destination
- If the file on the source is newer than the file on the destination, copy the file to the destination
- If a file is on the destination but not on the source, delete the file from the destination

That's it! Pretty simple.

What products might you suggest? Willing to pay - does not have to be free.

 

I must add that I want the backup folder structure to look exactly the way it looks on the source. So If I want, I can copy even a single file from the backup back to the destination.
I do not want the backups in zip files or some proprietary format.

 

SyncbackSE covers your requirements pretty well except you have to define profiles for the folders you want backed up rather than by default including all folders.

There is also a Pro version but I haven't tried that myself.
