Simple VISTA Question: SP1, SP2?

    I'm puzzled by MS Updates rules & thresholds. On my 2 temporary VISTA systems, Win Update never shows SP1 and SP2 for Vista Basic and Vista Home Premium. Why is that? Are they of no value?

    What is the "prescription" for an optimized Vista in a small [less than 10] user network? I like to think I have these tuned but issues like this one make me wonder....
