    I have sims 2 ive taken it away on holiday with me and i want to play it on my laptop but i havnt brought the cover with me so i dont have the activation code but i dont want to download a key gen .

    Is there anyway of getting my activation code without using illegal means?

    I would try to contact (EA, is it?), and see if they can help you out. I wouldn't expect too much, though.

    They arnt much help they want me to send the game and £3 .

    I spent £35 on the game i think its a bit of a joke.

    Yeah, EAs support fricken sucks.
    Unfortuantely, I don't know any other method, aside from warez, which is risky at best. Maybe another geek can help you out... Or can you contact someone with access to your cover? That's probably a stupid question, but, you never know.
