sims 3 freezing?

    Hey,

    I have a computer which has the specs to play the sims 3, however at a certain point in the game the computer just locks up/freezes, could this be to do with the graphics card not being supported by the game? or could it be the disc? which is rather scratched?

    The easiest way to find out is to play the game on a different computer. If it does the seam there, it's the disk.

    What system specs do you have, since you say the graphics card is not supported?
