Site Or Me?

I go to this game site a lot

I used CC cleaner before i go there and recently when I go there, EVERYTHING slows to a crawl
so many ads on the site, I just stopped going there

is it my computer or the site?

 

You need an ad blocker.
I checked the site with Internet Explorer 9 which has TPLs (Tracking Protection Lists) which also blocks ads, and Mozilla Firefox 45 which has Avast Online Security. Avast showed 9 Ad Tracking companies tried to track me.

I use FF and I have the check next toUse Tracking Protection in Private Windows so maybe If I go there with a PRIVATE window, it'll be better?

If it doesn't work satisfactory, have a look at uBlock Origin.

BTW I like Avast Online Security because it shows exactly what was blocked.
