Skype Vs Facetime

So, which video call app/software do you use, Skype or Facetime and which one works better for you? Our management cannot decide on which app we're going to use for official use. They are issuing iPhone and iPad units to our Accounts Executive, some Engineers and other Managers and staff who work from home. Our main purpose is to be able to communicate well whenever, wherever is necessary and most importantly to be able to hold an online conference meeting. I know Skype would be a good option but some of the staff are suggesting to look for another option aside from Facetime. Can you suggest any other good software aside from these two or at least cast your vote bet. skype and facetime, please. Thank you.

 

I'm comfortable using either of the two actually. But, I heard from a friend that there is a new technology trend in conducting a business meeting online. I'm not just aware if its the same as Skype or Facetime. I think, its just running a small installer program and you could join a meeting using even an android.

 

I would suggest you to use Skype. I felt quite uncomfortable with face time. It provides only limited options in setting and configurations. Also I think video and audio quality is better for skype.

 

How about this software? Is Skype secure enough? I'm planning to call OmniJoin soon for a demo and to get a quote if I don't anything else.
